The long awaited return of the sun this week has allowed us to reopen the field. We would like to take this opportunity to remind students of the importance of maintaining uniform standards:
school jumpers are an additional item of clothing to the blazer, not an alternative.
short sleeve shirts are allowed, these do not need to be rolled up further.
students should bring their blazers to school everyday.
Thank you to Year 8 parents and carers for attending parents’ evening this week, it was great to discuss mini-options with you all and celebrate the progress the year group have made so far this year. Year 8 also had a fantastic presentation from TV and radio presenter, Michael Kurn this week; he talked about the importance of embracing change, failure and adaptability.

Top Tip
Water is one of the most important resources we have on earth and it is a resource that we rely on daily. On average, a person in the UK uses 142 litres of water per day and our demand for water is set to increase, so it is important that we conserve this natural resource for future generations.
The added benefit is that when we save water, we also save money on our water bills! See below for some quick tips on how to save water at home.
