Key Worker Meetings

Who is the intervention for?
Key worker meetings are available to students in Years 7 to 11 with an EHCP

What does the intervention involve?
One of our wonderful teaching assistants meets with your child to talk about school and hobbies. The focus of the conversation varies depending on the individual. For some of our students in Year 7, conversations focus on transition and friendships, whilst students in Year 11 often choose to talk to us about revision.

When does the intervention take place?
The majority of our key worker meetings take place during tutor time once per fortnight. In some cases, students are met with once per week. We record the date and time of the meeting on epraise.

We are unable to offer daily meetings to any of our students due to the high number of students with an EHCP.
