Requesting Leave of Absence
Any request for a leave of absence during term time must be made in advance using The Mountbatten School 'Request to Authorise Absence from School due to Exceptional Circumstances' form, which is available from Student Services and may also be downloaded below. The completed form should be submitted to the Attendance Office, who along with the Headteacher, will approve the request if there are exceptional circumstances. If the absence is not approved as exceptional circumstances then please see the parent information leaflet below regarding Penalty Notices. You may incur a fine if there are more than 10 sessions (5 days) of absence.
