Our admission policy is agreed every year by school governors and placed on our website. Stakeholders are invited to make comments on any changes to our admissions policy that governors propose.
Applications are processed in order of the Admissions criteria - please see the attached Admissions Policy.
Admissions for Year 7 for September are administered by the local authority. Please go to Hampshire School Admissions for more information. For all other admissions please use the in-year application form below. You may also wish to contact Lara Simpson on email@example.com or 01794 502502 for information on places and waiting lists.
Distance Criteria: The student with the furthest distance admitted to Year 7 during main round, March 2021, was approximately 3.4 miles away. Please note this distance is as the crow flies.
If your application for a place is unsuccessful, you have a statutory right of appeal. Information on how to appeal is below.

The Mountbatten School is undertaking its mandatory consultation process with stakeholders regarding its Admissions Policy.
The Consultation Process begins on 23 September and ends on 9 November. Comments should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Admissions Consultation’ in the subject box by 9 November. The governors will review comments submitted during the consultation process and determine the policy on 23 November 2021. The Policy is available below.
