GCSE Results Day Information

Results will be available for Year 11 students to collect in the Olympic Hall on Thursday 25 August between 10.00am and 11.00am. Results will also be emailed to your student school email address after 12.00 noon.

The hard copies of results not collected by students will be posted via Royal Mail 1st class to the address we have for you on our system. If you move house prior to exam results day it is important you let us know, so the results do not get posted to the wrong address.

If you want anyone else to collect your results please email exams@mountbatten.hants.sch.uk with the name of your nominated person.  They must have either a copy of your email or identification with them on results day.

Results will not be given out by telephone under any circumstances. If you need post-results advice, staff will be available during the morning on Results Day.

Post-results services

If you feel strongly that it is necessary to make an enquiry about your result you should first consult the Head of Subject to obtain their advice. You should be aware that your mark could go down, up or stay the same, the latter being the most likely outcome. There is a review fee, and it is refunded only if there is a change of the overall grade following the review.

4.3.2 Service 2 (Review of marking)

This is a post-results review of the original marking to ensure that the agreed mark scheme has been applied correctly. It is not a re-marking of the candidate’s script.

The awarding body will have trained its reviewers to conduct reviews of marking accurately and consistently. Reviewers will not re-mark the script.

The service is available for externally assessed components of both unitised and linear GCE and GCSE specifications. https://www.jcq.org.uk/exams-office/post-results-services
